From Grinding Streets to Timeless Tracks, Tre Loaded’s Unwavering Work Ethic Fuels His Ascent
In the rapidly shifting and unpredictable world of Memphis rap, young star Tre Loaded has his eyes on the throne. The Bluff City lyrical assassin has had an enviable start to his career, steadily building his fanbase with several effortlessly smooth, melodically inclined projects. In 2022, he shared his debut, Made in Memphis, a quick 20-minute tape that established his proclivities for real and gritty narratives of life as an aspiring superstar; stuck between the streets in the studio, paradoxically living inside the game to one day escape it. The spotlight is growing brighter for Tre, but his approach has remained the same: he’s never gonna be outworked on his way to the very top of the industry.
Another big reason for Tre’s rapid ascent? The dude never stops working. "When I first started dropping music, my mindset was, ‘I know a lot of folk want to do this.’" Tre had to figure out what made him different, how he stood out. "I used to drop two, three times a week, then drop a tape and a video. Everything I was doing, I was doing on my own. That’s always been his mindset."
Last year, Tre Loaded dropped his strongest and most celebrated effort yet: LOADED. The project did so well that he re-upped with a deluxe edition this past April, cementing his momentum and growing spotlight. What hasn’t changed? His approach. Tre refuses to be outworked on his way to the very top. From the jump, he separated himself by out-grinding everyone — dropping multiple songs a week, full tapes, and visuals, all independently. That relentless work ethic still defines him today.
Much like a superstar athlete, Tre sharpens raw talent with pure hustle. "I got to do more than what they’re trying to do. I got to be seen," he explains. And the results speak for themselves. On LOADED, he carried nearly the whole project solo, with just one feature: That Mexican OT on "The Ticket." For the deluxe, he brought in tourmate BigXthaPlug to remix "Another Whip."
Recently, Tre dropped the visual to his latest single "Trethoven." The official video has amassed over 50,422 views since its release on September 12th.
