Arkadiusz Van Born: One of Chicago's Finest and Most Prolific DJs
Arkadiusz Van Born is a young composer with great passion and love for the true meaning of trance; it brings peace and understanding within people and brings the people together. Arkadiusz was born in the U.S. but grew up in Europe and lived there for most of his young life. He discovered music notes on his very first battery-powered baby blue keyboard. What may have sounded like random notes to others noted with a deeper meaning to him, what we can call trance. Of course, this was the first time he had heard of this, and never thought he would soon be composing these new melodies in the trance and techno categories.

In 1992, for Arkadiusz Van Born’s 4th birthday, he received a Casio keyboard. This allowed him to add different sounds and pitches of notes to his melodies. Arkadiusz had an older sister who lived in the U.S. She was 18 years old and like any young adult, she experienced nightlife with her friends. While experiencing this nightlife, she also experienced a new type of electronic music: Techno, Brake Beat, Dance, etc. She connected this music with the music Arkadiusz was playing on the keyboard and began to think her brother has a musical ear. Arkadiusz is very grateful for having a caring, loving, older sister who believes in him because he may have never begun his musical talent without her. She knew a few DJs who played the latest song from England, Germany, and Holland…… He was inspired by many DJs and hopes to continue his dream of being able to play his own style he developed with inspirations that occurred throughout his life. He wishes to inspire others to pursue their dreams as well as other people to be open about the music they listen to and know that music is not just a beat, it is a deeper meaning. He hopes to fascinate others with his music as DJs previously have done for him.
Arkadiusz Van Born's name is synonymous with the cutting-edge “Dance Music” scene. He was also one of the early pioneers of the unique dance music movement that has now become a phenomenon in its own right and is religiously followed by the clubbing faithful the world over. A producer/re-mixer, songwriter, and highly sought-after DJ, are just a few facets of this multi-talented young man.
