#ChicagoMusic Artists opens for Travis Porter!

On Wednesday, I had the pleasure of being a judge for the "Travis Porter" auditions. My good friends Showcase, CEO of H3 Entertainment, and Bo Beniz, CEO of Go Sity Entertainment invited me and my crew to be a part of this spectacular event!

I must say that the #Chicagomusic artists showed up and out for this event. I commend everyone that came out to compete for the title. However, I was quite disappointed that artists didn't pay attention to what venue they would be auditioning for.

Most of us are aware of the music that the group, Travis Porter, is known for, Right? With that being said, you should perform that type of music for your audition. The groups, TSTM and 20/20 accomplished that with the songs they performed. They brought their A-game to the stage and killed it! Both groups had catchy hooks with a cute melodic balance.

On Friday, It was showtime and the winners were ready to perform. I could feel the enthusiasm in the room and I couldn't wait to see everyone's performance. My partner, Betty Boo, CEO of The Wright Connectionz, filmed the event (footage coming soon). There were other local artists from Chicago, who graced the stage with their performances like Jahzel and Mr. Ben Official. DJ Sean Mac and Trinidad James made a brief appearance and showed the group, Travis Porter, some love before the show.

After the local artists appeared, The Headlining Act, Travis Porter graced the stage! The women jumped up out of their seats and showed the group love by gyrating and bouncing to the opening intro! Travis Porter engaged in a conversation with the Chicago audience before performing their songs.

They performed their hits like Make It Rain Trick, You Don't Know, Bring It Back, and their new single, Do A Trick! The audience was “turnt up” when they performed that club "banga". The audience participates by getting on the stage and showing their best moves. If you missed the event, I apologize! Maybe next time…..
